The morning bus originates from Creswick, travels through Ballarat and out to our school. It is also available for the use of school children from Christian College, Phoenix College, who disembark the bus opposite Woolworths in Sebastopol.

Children do need to have a current paid up myki card to use these services. You can register and manage your myki cards online, it is easy to keep them topped up this way. Manage your myki online:

Please support these bus services if you can, so we retain them into the future.

Morning Bus Route:  Departs 8am, Creswick Terminus, corner of Bromfield & Clunes/Creswick Road.
Travels to Ballarat via Midland Hwy/Creswick Road.   Turns left into Mair Street, right into Lydiard Street, left into Sturt Street, then around the Bridge Mall loop, in to the bus interchange (Coles Woolworths car park) at around 8:25am. It then displays the Steiner School sign and departs around 8:30am. It travels back up Sturt Street, turns left into Drummond Street along to Skipton Street, then out to our school arriving at approximately 8:55am.

You can hail this bus at any bus stop along this route.  If you find there is a large gap in official bus stops near you, the bus company are happy to arrange a safe pick up stop (eg. a tree, your driveway) anywhere along this route.  Due to the nature of a school special, and the distance it travels, the bus company have advised to allow a few minutes either side of these times.

The afternoon bus runs just for Steiner School students (prep to class 6). This bus departs from our school at 3:45, and travels directly to the Skate Park (LT Fraser Reserve) in Main Road, Ballarat, arriving around 4pm. It does not pick up or drop off on this trip. We have a code of care for our children; in the event a child arrives off the bus at the skate park and has no parent yet present, another parent will stay until all children are seen safely collected.
